That's exactly the plan. The ceremony room is functional, not scenic, so after the vows we walk to the historic San Bernardino County Courthouse and other architectural spots nearby for the real portraits — clean columns, arches, and open steps that give the images scale and warmth. If you'd rather, we can also finish at a park or downtown Riverside on the way home.
When's the best time of day for a courthouse elopement?
The clerk's office keeps daytime, weekday hours, so ceremonies land mid-morning to early afternoon. We book portraits for late afternoon golden hour whenever the schedule allows — the last hour before sunset gives the warmest, most flattering light on any of the architectural backdrops we use.
