What we cover

Celebrations, and the other kind.

Bautizos

La misa, el padrino y la madrina, y la comida después. En español, sin que nadie tenga que traducir.

Birthdays & anniversaries

The decorations before anyone arrives, the reactions, the toast, the part of the night nobody remembers to photograph.

Graduations

The ceremony if we are allowed in, and the party afterward — which is usually the better half anyway.

Corporate & business

Conferences, openings, team events and headshots on the same day. Files delivered fast enough to post.

Receptions

Sometimes you already have a photographer for the ceremony and need the reception covered. That is a normal thing to ask for.

Baby showers

Daytime, indoors, usually badly lit and full of people who matter. We bring our own light.

Event questions.

How much does a photographer charge for an event?

In the Inland Empire and Orange County the going rate is $250 to $300 an hour with a two-hour minimum, and $2,000 to $2,800 for a full day. Ours is $300 an hour, $600 minimum, $1,000 for four hours and $2,200 for eight. That is the whole price list — there is no package you have to call about.

Why is there a two-hour minimum?

Because an event photographer's day is mostly not the shooting. It is the drive, the setup, the scouting of a room nobody let us see beforehand, and then two or three hours of editing for every hour photographed. Below two hours the job costs more than it earns, which is why everyone in this market has the same minimum.

How fast do we get the photos?

A handful within a couple of days, and the full edited gallery in two weeks. For corporate events where you need something to post the same week, say so when you book and we will turn a selected set around in 48 hours at no extra cost.

Do you photograph bautizos and quinceañera receptions?

Constantly, and in Spanish. Bautizos are most of the church work we do outside weddings. If you are planning a quinceañera, the quinceañera packages cover the whole day — misa, portraits and reception — and start at $1,800, which is better value than booking the reception by the hour.

Do you travel? Is there a fee?

No travel fee anywhere in the Inland Empire or Orange County — Riverside, Jurupa Valley, Corona, Moreno Valley, Ontario, Fontana, San Bernardino, Temecula, and out to Irvine, Anaheim and the coast. Beyond that, ask and we will quote it honestly.

Can you do headshots at the same event?

Yes, and it is the most useful hour a company buys. We set up a corner with lights, run the team through it during a break, and you leave with a consistent set for the whole staff plus coverage of the event itself.
